Today I decided to trun a bowl for my uncle’s christmas present, It is 6” diameter and 2” deep.I chose to do a simple design as I realy like the grain pattern which is brought out even more by the wax finish.

This is a swing seat that I made for my god mother’s birthday about a year ago. It is made from pressure treated wood and has also been stained. The chain is stainless steel along with all of the other hardware. I have since made two more, one was a commission for my friend’s grandparents anniversary and the other a commission from my parents.

This project turned out to be one of the most used chissel when im turning, I had to make it as the set I bought about a year ago did not contain it. I was able to make it for 50% less than what it cost in the shop. It is made out of ash and has grooves in it for extra grip

This is a 24inch square coffe table that I made out of some spare lumber that I had after another project. The top was origanaly some shelves that I had in my bedroom and the legs were cut from an old fence post that cleaned up nicly. I used my Kreg pocket hole jig to fix the legs and I used a round over bit in my router to round of the edges on the top. I finished it with a beech water baseed stain.

This is one of the projects that I made when I first went on a course to learn how to turn. I decided to burn som guidance lines on every inch to allow the usere to determine how deep the hole would be. also there are some grooves on the handle to improve grip.

If you have any suggestions on how I could improve the peice please leave me a comment
