Well I have not been getting much time to do any woodworking lately because of power lifting at my high school. But now that I am done with states and Placed 9th out of 16 in the state. I am ready to do my first commission from one of my teachers at school. He wants a Cherry Podium so I will be hopefully posting some blog entries about that. You did very well in Skills, Adam!
Looks like our project list is pretty much the same. Getting ready to build a Red Oak lectern for my brother-in-law. The wood is acclimating in the shop now.

My mistake. Thought you meant you place 9th in Skills USA. After I reread you post, realized you were talking about lifting.

Ok lew I see what you were talking about. I did compete in the carpentry side of Skills USA but they never announced our results. So I probably wont know till next year rolls around.
