Not much to say here. Got the knob installed, gave the table 2 coats of Watco Danish Oil (Cherry), and I think its pretty much all done. Might give it one more coat over the weekend.

I love it.

I love the style, the execution, and—like Todd said—the motivation behind it.

Secondary woods for the drawer box, or … cherry hardwood, all the way through ?

What’s the joinery—in the carcass and for the drawer box ??

The table is actually made from yellow birch, not cherry. The back of the drawer is made from poplar. The table is put together with Mortise and Tennons, the drawer front is blind dovetailed to the sides and the sides are through dovetailed to the back.
