Hello my fellow Lumber jocks. This is the first time posting and would like to share a tablesaw base I made. I have the dirst part of that video and I also made a second video of it. 3rd video will come soon and that would be where I will be able to utilize the whole tablesaw station more! Drawers for storage. Who doesn’t need more storage?

Here is the making of the tablesaw base:

And here is the 2nd video of adding a dust collection box and extending one side of the tablesaw:

I can post picture here if needed or ok if the videos are enough.

I’m not too sure if Hip Hop tracks go with woodworking videos but that’s all I know =P

Nice job Ed, I subscribed. A couple of things:

1) I’d probably add a third pair of casters in the middle to distribute the weight. It may sag over time, especially with the drawers filled. It’s quite wide.

2) the videos could be shortened a bit by not showing some of the repetitive tasks, just maybe show the first in each sequence.

3) I don’t mind the hip hop but I basically grew up on it :). They’re all instrumentals anyway so it’s not distracting. I’m glad you’re not playing some of the garbage that is out now, though. (In old man voice) “hip hop ain’t what it used to be!” I listen to everything these days but older hip hop will always have a place in my heart. Hopefully YouTube doesn’t hit you with any copyright violations for using the tracks.

In any case, I enjoyed the videos, keep em coming.

Thanks Matt!

I see you noticed my part 3 on the table saw =P

I am actually planning of upgrading the casters to bigger ones. Also I do want to put adjuatable posts (don’t know if that’s the proper word for them)? So I can also level it incase I position station in an uneven surface. I’ll put 6 of those (1 for each corner and 2 in the middle). Other then that, this table saw now helps me Big time to cut large sheets! I would have never thought I would build anything like this lol.

And now for the music. I 100% agree with you on the new joints they play today on the radio. I mean, some are ok, beat wise. I don’t think Youtube will hit me with the copyright hammer. I send my proper dispute and it works out fine. Most of these tracks my DJ buddy has them =P
