I have my shop set up in my double car garage. It’s uninsulated and unheated for now but living in Cold-As-A-Witch’s-Tit Canada, it won’t stay that way for long. My shop tools are lower end. I am just starting to get into finer woodworking. I am well versed in rough carpentry but I’ve always wanted to produce and create quality hardwood work.
The bug bit me after I purchased a used Shopsmith Mark V off of Kijiji this summer. I’ve read a lot of different opinions on the machine, but coming from an engineering background, all I can say is that it is very well designed…and so many upgrades and accessories are available. It’s like Barbie for woodworkers.
My main tools for now are:
-Shopsmith Mark V
-Crappy Ryobi 10’’ table saw
-King Canada 12.5’’ planer
-A whole bunch of other power and hand tools from good ole’ Canadian Tire.
Pics to come later.
