I can’t stop buying clamps on e-bay! I am picking projects that give me the opportunity to buy and use more of my clamps. Can anyone help me? Do I need to increase the dose of my medication?

I could use extra clamps, really. Especially the ones that have a long reach from edge of wood. Feel free to send them here lol.

Everytime I go into Lowes or Home Depot I look at clamps. I know that I need some more; In fact I’m absolutely certain that I need some more but I just don’t ever buy any. I must be nothing but a tightwad. :-}

contrary to some belief – having too many clamps CAN and WILL interfere with your woodworking.

Rick, I think what Purplev means is “having too many clamps without proper clamp storage WILL interfere with your woodworking.” You can never have too many clamps, or maybe I say that because I don’t have enough yet ;)

I fight the urge to buy more clamps most of the time. Unfortunately I am building a addition on my shop, a “clean room”, so I will have a place with less dust. With the added space I will need more clamps. lol

Eric,
If a person has TOO many clamps, and they interefere with his (or her) woodworking and get in the way, you can always find a corner of the shop to hide them in, or put them somewhere out of the way…..

I have 10 6” quick clamps, 2 12” quick, 8 aluminum clamps, 8 sets of pipe clamps, but only 2 pipes lol. I need more pipes so I can use all those clamps.

I have a feeling this is going to turn into a “Who has the most clamps” thread. I’m ok with being in last place.

I think first place would have to go to A1Jim, CharlesNeil, or TheWoodWhisperer.
