Let me welcome you to LJs. I hope that you will find this to be an exciting and interesting part of your woodworking journey.
-- With God's help all things are possible- even woodworking. Woodworking is not just a hobby, it is an (expletive deleted) expensive hobby.

Welcome! I lived in Georgetown, Texas for about 9 years after I retired, but I think the heat did something to my brain because I moved back to cold Minnesota. You will enjoy this site. Have fun and work safe.

Thanks, Ron,
I’ve got a table to deliver to Georgetown at the end of the week. I did the opposite of you. I retired in Maine, but supporting the heating oil company started getting old, so I moved back to Texas.

Welcome, ex-neighbor!
No a/c in my garage/shop, but having an air conditioned space above and next to it keeps it a little cool at least. <g>

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.
God Bless

Never thought of that!
Hope this is not like the time I picked up a bunch of free lead containers and melted them down for Scuba Diving weights. Found out later that the containers were used to transport radioactive isotopes. :>(

I visited your website and read that you are in San Saba. My young bride of 20 years and I plan to retire in the San Saba area, hopefully sooner than later, probably next 7 years. I love the area and can’t wait to get out of the grit of Houston. San Saba is looking better alll the time! I would guess pecan is readily available in the pecan capital of Texas.
