Hey Everyone,
Just Wanted to start up the series with me and my cousin called “Wood Riffs”. This is as i said the series with me and my cousin and it will be more of a fun show that will take place less frequently as me and my cousin need to get together to do this one. we will mostly be building cool things for his guitar. I figured that in this I would just release the first project idea. It is a bandsawn box. I am planning of making it out of flame birch as my cousin like rock and metalish music. very simple with the front of the box being end grain. I’ll seal the end grain on the back of the box but not the front so the grain kind of flows toward the front and exploded on the front. then an ebony handle on the front. I thin that it’ll be pretty cool. As next week is April Vacation i hope to get it done then as long as my wood shipment comes on time. so i think that this will be a pretty cool project. if you have any idea for the design just leave a message!

Sounds by your writing that your already having fun with the anticipation of building the box. How large a box you gonna make. How about the outline of the state that you live in, or maybe the outline of the White House. Keep up the great idea’s, and the projects coming.
