the shop is in a separte building from the house, actually half of a two car garage, an 18 X 30 foot space.
in the sumer I can leave the door and windows open and in winter heat with a propane source. Being at 6200 feet elevation in the Spring mtns northwest of las vegas we get all four seasons. love the setup. shop has the usual major tools: delta tablesaw, lathe. compound mitre saw, spindle and roll sanders, bandsaw, drill press, planer, workbech, etc. plenty of space for making the projects I like. also have a small library of DIY resource books and mags like Fine Woodworking as refererence materials.
before the garage was built the shop was in the basement of our home and you know what a mess we make in our craft, so when I was able to relocate , my wife was very happy to get rid of the dust, noise etc, and I was even happier to have more room and a place for the dog and I to hang out.
WHAT A LUCKY GUY AM I !

That looks like a great place to work . Enjoy it. I don’t see a dog, but I’ll take your word for it.
