I think we were told that it was a complicated formula.

I’ve had a couple of them Sam: It is LJ’s way of saying that the project in question has drawn more than a share of looks and / or comments

I think its purely based on the number of views that the project receives.

Sam…it is just a fun way of featuring work that is popular. Its main benefit is free publicity and coffee.

Sam:

I have 2 Daily Top 3 on my projects page….Since receiving them, I have had a few “hits” with guys favoring them…They get a little more exposure in your projects and woodshop pages…..I guess that’s about it.
Like Greg said…..free publicity, but I still have to make my own coffee….:)

Hi Sam. I’m pretty sure all of your projects will hit the top 3. As for myself I’m just happy to get a comment and have someone to talk to. The funny thing is, I hardly ever look at the home page. Am I missing something?

I would like to thank you all for your replys. I wished I had receive an answer started with it is… that’s how it is selected…and so on. But any way, David’s reply was the nearest answer to my question Thank you David.
Stefang, it was just kind of curiousety and you have not missed a big deal at all. We all have to make our own coffee, as Rick said.It test even better, I think.
