I'd not gotten the chance to even see an Excalibur in person before I committed to buying one, so I was a bit nervous. When I found out that's what you and Steve Good had both moved to, I felt a bit better. When it arrived, I fell in love.
I can't wait to get my home built now. (I'm working on a dovetailed oak cabin on my first ever piece of property) Right now, I'm staying in my parent's little walk out basement room. 350 sq ft is just too small for a person and 2 dogs. What's eating me alive though is the gas expense. My new saw is a full gallon of gas round trip away from me right now. I've been using it every single day so far. I might have to take today off though. I seem to have overdone it yesterday. Not only did I make 5 necklace pendants, I also helped my friend's 3 kids in the garage and finally got their dad set up on my old saw. Chronic pain + 3 hyper and excited little boys = impending disaster!
Oh, AND I went and picked up some stunning glass pieces on freecycle. I'm going to cut out openings in some of the upper kitchen cabinets I got for my house and put in the glass when I get to refinishing the donated kitchen cabinet set. No wonder I need a rest day!
