« Part 2: Wheels and glue up Part 3 of Big Rig by T& J series Part 4: Back from vacaion »

I stayed out of the shop the last few days. Got back this afternoon. Looking at the plans for the Rig, I realized that the interior was going to be totally empty. searching in the scrap pile, I found some wood and created a few things. They are all in need of sanding. But the idea and size seen to work

Gas, break, and clutch peddle are red ceder. The seats are walnut with ceder, the gear shift is maple, turned on a drill press, and cut with a sharp screwdriver. The housing is ceder. The dash board will have a ceder glove box and maple gauges ans switches. The steering wheel is maple, now if I could only fit a 60” flat screen.

Great work, the two tone seats will set off the interior.

Toys and Joys plan 32 does not have any interior items. the seats were from left over 1930 Packard plans, the steering wheel and dash is from the WW2 jeep, and the rest is from looking at what other wood workers do on LJ
