I have a Powermatic 20” Planer and was curious what everyone’s thoughts are on long term solutions for keeping the table lubricated allowing parts to glide better. I know Topcote is now called GlideCote which is an awesome table top lubricant, but I wanted to see if anyone has a different material that works longer without recoating?
I’ve read a few things about wax, but haven’t heard very good things since it heats up and builds up ultimately slowing parts down if not binding when going through planer. Any information is much appreciated.
Thanks everyone,
Tracy
