I’m with armylogger. I am looking for burls to turn but I wouldn’t have a clue what to offer. The shipping would probably be more than I could afford. I just looked at the size if it, man it’s huge. Wouldn’t be able to turn it on the lathe I have. Would need to resaw it and try to use part of it for veneers maybe some boxes or just study it for awhile and try to get inspired. Great find, I am always amazed at what nature comes up with when we let her do her thing.

I could use it! I would make turnings from it of course. I am wondering if it has the spike like texture under the bark, or if the spikes are just here and there. Looking at the moss, it looks as if it came from up here in the Pacific North West.
