we are going to cut it up soon. oregon big leaf maple burl. Got big tear drop off front going down hill side, still have to undress it. i dont know why my pics are off set. anyways this burl stands over 9 ft, biggest maple burl i have ever seen in the woods.

heck…. made me drool. I still cant sleep got this tree from a home owner thinks its ugly wants it gone.

Its huge, gonna have to bust out the stihl 090 8ft bar, aint had that out in years. should be fun ill post pics as we mill it up.be a week or two.

That thing IS ugly! However, I bet the inside is going to be beautiful. I need to find one of those unknowing homeowners! I have seen Greg’s 6’ bar. another 2’ of saw sounds scary. Is that a two man bar? Looking forward to pictures.

ugly? lol.. Yes the saw is 2 man has handle on tip, when we unearth the bottom will see what size bar we need, to save on the burl we have a band saw {homemade} that can take 7ft. Hopefully we can post a video of it.

Anybody need a 7ft burl table from this tree? If the butt of the tree is not rotton should have some big slabs or?

Thank you, going to cut it down soon will have some burl for everyone, ill post pics of the cutting and such.
