The stand is now painted, it did take a little work to get it cleaned up. I used SoyGel on the old finish that was caked on. I put it on and let it sit for 30 minutes and the old finish scraped right off. I was also able to find a could missing...

I get great satisfaction making things from my own two hands. In high school, I made a Dinning room table, roll top desk and a steamer trunk. I find it relaxing to spend time in the shop. If I don't know how to do something, I'll go research it and figure it out. "Jack of all trades, Master of none!"
I am married and am blessed with two little girls, Karsyn (4) & Katelyn (2). If there where only more hours in the day.
