I have created a new, smaller shop…just starting out again, after liquidating a one-man Cabinet shop (I have a 6 car garage, 2 cars deep, that will be my next shop, when $ allows, :)) but this basement shop is cozy and has a feel good atmosphere, I like it, for now.
It’s 12’ wide in one section then it grows to 14’ wide 16’ later, along the same length making it 25” in length.
I had to make hard decision’s about where to place machines and tables/benches.
I made several drawings…till I finally just winged it and placed as I went.
Take a look at some pics, I hope you can take something from it that may help, if not try to appreciate the small area and my hard-to-decide layout, LOL **not enough pics allowed, so here’s a few

Hey Steve,
Nice that you still have a cozy place to do your woodworking!
About adding more pictures to any post you put up on LJ’s. After the 6 you can add more just like I’m doing here in this ”Have Your Say reply” Just do a reply and add more as I’m doing now. It’s easy!

Follow this….

This is just a sample pic for an example.

I spend 10-15 mins. after every episode in my shop that day to clean.
I hate dust, I LIKE clean and orderly.
It makes me feel real good the next day when I enter and it looks appreciated.
I love my shop, man…I love my shop(.)
