For the last month or so my LJ email notifications have gone very wonky. The subject and sender is not the same as the subject and sender of the actual email received. I have contacted LJ (Cricket) twice about the problem, but the problem still isn't resolved. None of my other emails are mixed up this way, so it makes me think that LJ is where the problem originates, but I can't say that for sure.
Anyway, besides the aggravating email problem, my wife and I got the flu over the holidays and so I've been mainly sleeping in my chair. We are over it now. I will be trying to catch up with all the posts since before Christmas, but it will take awhile, so I hope you don't think I've lost interest in your posts or your work.
I hope you all had a great Christmas and I wish you all a Very Happy New Year!
That flue stuff is spreading around here like crazy. Not a pleasant thing to have to deal with. Glad you and your wife are better and hope you enjoy your shop time soon.
My e-mails are OK, its the time of day that is way off.
Hi Mike, Sorry to here that you and your wefe got that nasty flu going around. Glad your over it.
I too have been stricken by this nasty bug. I'm still not at 100% yet, I'm still coughing my head off with congestion.
Just to let you know I have no issues with my emails here on LJ''s.
Happy New Year!
Thanks for all the good wishes everyone. Get well sone Tony. I'll have to check and see if we can do something about that volcano in Iceland. It'a pretty weird to look at my inbox list with an email notification from someone in Canada, but the actual email from another person in Iceland. At my age I'm confused enough without any extra help from the internet.
Hi Mike, hope you and the wife are fully recovered. No problems over here. Maybe the Northern Lights are lighting up your internet connections~! We have dodged the flu bug so far. Wish us luck, the wife works at an elementary school~~~~~~~~ Just a little lingering, nagging cough for a cold. Hoping that bug didn't totally spoil the holidays for you.
I/we had that flu during Christmas that lasted almost 2 weeks. I'm still not 100% yet. I haven't had any problems here like that. Hope you get to feeling better quick. Happy New Year to you and your family.
Thanks Bob, luckily we were ok to celebrate Christmas Eve at our son's home, which is when we have a family party and open our presents here in Norway, but we had to take a pass a couple of other get-togethers.
Sorry to hear your holidays got ruined by the flue too Roger. That really sucks. Speedy recovery!
Just a follow-up to my post here. I just went through my latest batch of emails and suddenly everything is working properly again. The first miracle of 2015!
