Maloof Inspired Rocker - Finish before rockers? - 0 replies
I’m finally sanding out my wife’s chair and have not glued on the rockers – the rest is assembled. It is easy to handle the chair w/o the rockers, which has me thinking that applying several coats of oil before the rockers are attached might be a lot easier than doing it after. Maloof Rocker - Rear Leg Shaping - 1 reply
I’m using Charles Brock’s material for making the Maloof inspired rocker and am about to shape the rear llegs. There is not much info out there about how best to accomplish this. I’d appreciate knowing from those who have gone before me if and how they began shaping the rear legs before glue-up. Thanks in advance.
