I found this piece of wood in a large wood pile I check frequently for unusual pieces. It is 2 branches with 1 wrapped around the other. The bark is kind of papery and grey with an orange toned inner bark. I have not seen anything like this here in Minnesota before. Can anyone help me identify it please.
