Well my “workshop” is a three car garage. One bay is half full with lawn mowers and such and the other two have cars in them. I back the cars out and keep EVERYTHING mobile. Two and a half garage bays is enough room for me to set up. I could use shelves and storage but it is progressing. I’ll have to get some pics up of before and after. It would be nice to have a dedicated space but its just not going to happen. Thankfully there is some pretty nice equipment available today that is more than happy to be wheeled around the garage.

Edit 5/58/2009

Finally added a couple pics. The lumber rack, rolling storage shelves, workbench, and most the tools are new since I joined lumber jocks. My shop is a disaster. I hope to develop and economical work flow and gain an understanding of woodworking that helps me organize this area in some way that makes since. I need to devote some time to adding smaller storage compartments to the big shelves I have now. There’s always something.

Hi Spaids,

I will ditto Gary’s comment about the pictures. I find visual shop tours to be an enjoyable part of this community.

Hi spaids,
I have two brothers who live in your town. I see your shop is starting to look like a home depot franchise. I have several HD machines myself. You look like you’re off to a good start. I didn’t see a router table yet. Are you going to build one?
