« Part 3: Its finally here! Who is going to the show Saturday? Part 4 of Missouri Woodworkers series no next part

The show is coming to St. Louis. I’ve heard that you can haggle with the vendors on prices. As much as the country is supposed to be struggling financially (I’ve been lucky that my job has been unaffected so far) the vendors may be more willing to make a sale than in the past. I am trying to make a list of everything I want and do some price research before hand. There is going to have to be a hefty discount on these items for me to purchase them at the show. I want to avoid getting there and not remembering that I was wanting a certain item until I see it and have no way to check its current market price. I just got a 20% coupon from Rockler in the mail this week! Perfect timing. Hhhmmmwahhh haa haaa

I’m going to make a list and compare on site with the browser on my Crackberry…. if they don’t want to haggle, I’ll tell them I’ll order it on the net… I usually go there every year prepared like that if there is something in particular that I would like to buy. I used to find my best deals about 4pm on Sunday… but I didn’t go Sunday last year.
