I am starting a petition to have GaryK's name changed to Yoda

Look this guy is too good. He acts all unassuming and like he’s human. He is a Jedi and I think he should not be aloud to hide behind a normal name like GaryK. I say we should all refer to GaryK as Yoda until he accepts it and officially changes his name.

He acts all unassuming and like he’s human.

We’ve been assuming all along that he is, in fact, human.

Has anyone ever really seen this guy? I think he’s computer-generated, and that his “projects” are actually produced by George Lucas’ special effects outfit.

Nice try, GaryK, but we’re on to you!

I’m with you – I think he’s a new, woodworker version of the $6-Million Man! They replaced all his appendages with CNC equipment! ;-)

Seriously – congrats Gary, you’re a true artist!

hahah too funny :)

I can see him smiling ear to ear and with Yoda ears – that’s something! :0

I am honoured to be sitting in the LJ Shop along with such greatness. What an opportunity to learn. I can hear him say, “May the Force be with you”.
Keep them coming, Gary! Keep them coming

I CAN’T STOP LAUGHING!!! What does he do…cut boards with a light saber ??? It might fill the shop with smoke….LOL

Speaking of technology centuries into the future, I love the carving tool seen on Star Trek The Next Generation season 1 episode 18 “When The Bough Breaks” (don’t worry I had to look this up) . The children of the Enterprise are kidnapped and one kid learns to do woodcarving with a laser-thingamabob. WAY TOO COOL. It’s found in the “Part 2” link below at time index 6:16 if you’re in a hurry. If not, just watch the whole thing. It’s a good episode.

Click here to watch part 1 and part 2 and only watch it in Firefox or any browser other than Internet Explorer.

Maybe GaryK has one of these!!!

Signed. I am fairly new here, but I have definitely benefited from the wisdom of GaryK while searching the site for info on various things.

Are we aloud to make eye contact and kiss his ring finger if we ever have the honor of meeting him in person? Congratulation YODA!

God bless

Aw man! That’s great.

Keep it down or my head will get so big I won’t be able to get my Yoda robe over it. HaHa!

May the fence be with you.
