Location: Sumner, Washington

Semi-retired 67 year old woodworker wannabe. Semi-retired as I work three days a week at the Sumner Woodworker Store in Sumner Washington. I supply the store with Alaskan diamond willow on my frequent trips to the far north and so do a bit of DW carving. Recently my daughter asked me to make her a "wedding card box" to place cards in at her upcoming wedding. So I have fashioned a box out of fiddleback and slices of buckeye burl. It's a glued box since I haven't learned other techniques yet but it has given me the "bug" and I want to try my hand at some puzzle boxes made of burl woods.
