Howdy -
Not sure how to describe myself but I'll give it a try. I have been making sawdust and firewood for about 5 yrs now. Occasionally, a decent looking project will accompany the sawdust and firewood.
I would classify myself as beginner/intermediate in skillset. I spent the first two years building my shop and, except for the fact that I dont have a bandsaw, I am pretty happy with it. The projects I create are fairly simple usually - coffee tables, book cases, things like that. I work mainly w power tools though more and more handtools work their way into my hands.
I have a cabinetmaker's bench that I fabricated the slab for 2 years ago and have yet to finish. I am finally getting started on that now.
I am new to Lumberjocks and very impressed so far. I am an on-again, off-again frequenter of woodworking.com.
I really like talking woodworking with people so don't hesitate to hit me up to chat.
I guess that is about it. See ya around.

Doug

PS -
Because people on other sites always ask, my nickname (Sotan) on this site is short for Minnesotan. It is not because I am tan or have anything to do with Satan!
