I am a 18 year old kid, who has been working with wood my whole life. I think the main reason is because My dad is a wood worker and also my grandpa. I use to go over to my grandpas every Saturday and help him out with his projects. Ever since then I have not been able to give up wood working. It is a feeling like no other. Over the past few years I have gotten into finer wood working at my high school. I hope to be able to build up my shop this summer so I can start to make furniture on the side , but who knows if that will ever happen. I also have save up for college.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.
God Bless

Excellent and welcome…good work on the table…wish I’d made a woodworkers career decision years ago like you have at your age. You’ll always be glad you chose to do something you enjoy…and you’ll be glad you joined Lumberjocks…lots of ideas…lots of creativity here…lots of inspiration. I sure have found it to be so.
