I have had a varied life so far, with many ups and downs.
I started out as a professional grower back in the 70's working in
large wholesale greenhouses in Cleveland and Louisville. After
my daughter Tracy was born, I decided to moved back to
Wilmington when she was old enough to go to school. Kentucky
schools were not that great.
I decided to leave the greenhouse business behind and go into
woodworking or 'whatever'. I just didn't know what that would
be. Lucky for me a woodworking opportunity came along and I
became shop foreman of a small doormaking shop. That lasted
about 8 years. Then our main customer went bankrupt and
I found myself out of work again.
I renovated old victorian porches for a while and then took a job
in a factory-just for the benefits. That temporary job has lasted
18 years!!
