A new shop in the making #2: Ever closer to a plan we can use

I had to teach myself a bit of sketch-up to get his plan off the ground thanks to the felllas that chipped in to make the learning curve a bit shorter.I’m no good at sketchup but I have managed to get a drawing (stick frame) that represents what I want to do with the shop. This version of the shop comes about after trying to get the city here to approve my use of about 4 feet of their property. -No luck. Well, a few nights ago I stayed up until well after midnight to finish the rough in wiring and insulating of my shop. I was tired, but I went to bed with a great feeling of accomplishment. I’ve done everything myself so far, and as a female, and one that’s only 5 feet tall, I’m just pretty darned proud of myself. Asian Inspired Bookshelf Concept

I dont have any clue how I’d build it or the dimensions, I just drew this up on a notepad and then threw together a quick illustration to post it up here, its somewhat asian inspired, and at first I was thinking it was 2 parts, but I guesss it could be built as one unit. I’m not sure on wood either yet, I was thinking mahogany. What do you guys think? Got any ideas for improvements or changes? Chuck
