« Part 2: The initial design Part 3 of Knitting box series Part 4: Drawer Dovetails »

I don’t know if you can see well enough but I added the top front and back panels to close in the top which will later be cut open and hinged. Also added the back panel which is solid.

Your Knitting Box is looking spectacular! What type of finish are you planning on?

I am going to go with a satin wipe on poly made by general finishes. I love that finish and I’d like to get my hands on some of their gloss I hear it’s amazing.

This is going to be beautiful when finished. You’ve done a great job. What are the dimensions if you don’t mind me asking?

Thanks! It is going to be about 7” deep x 7” wide and 13” long.
I am making this box to hold all of my wife’s knitting needles and w/e else she has to put in it.
I don’t think I ever clarified that!?
