I built this simple stand to hold a new flat screen for my folks. Oak plywood banded with true oak and used some sycamore for the legs. Several coats of tung/poly finished the job.

Out of boredom, I decided to build myself a new nightstand, so here we are. Sorry for the glare on the top, the maple is really nicely figured and the walnut was great. I flocked the bottom of the drawer, and several coats of poly/tung oil finish.

My wife asked for an entranceway table for her restaurant….so here we are. Skirts and top are of oak with a strip of padauk (one of my favorites) and the tapered legs are sycamore. My favorite blend of poly, tung oil and naptha went on in several coats.

The first 2 pics are of a slit drum I made out of figures walnut and a gorgeous piece of cherry. The other 2 fotos are of an oak TV cabinet, which was a lot of fun. My brother hand etched the smoked glass panels for me. The stand measures 47×24x32.
