I found this gnarly old tool when I bought a box of antique planes online.
I am not sure if this is a known tool or someone’s creation.
I works great as a scraper.

I just run a file across the edge to form a burr and it creates some pretty good shavings.
(the shavings in the picture are not from the scraper :)
You tap on the wedge at the back end and the other end clamps down on the blade.
I have been running is side to side and like it better than a pull scraper.

By “known” tool… I was wondering if it is a common way to make a scraper.
