Looking forward to your blog. Do you have to keep it next to the water heater to season the wood?

no just a spot to put it in the warm house. It’s alittle cold tonight. If your interested there are some awesome vids on you tube on stave drum building. Smiley the jazz cat makes a laminated one that looks like a les paul guitar. Curly maple on Mahogany. just type in stave drums. I only have one section of the shell that has a gap so when the glue has cured I am going to kerf in with a hand saw and reglue it. I hope that solves it.
