Do you think the Lawley 9’ tender can be rigged for sailing?
Where can I get the plans?
Is it Lapstrake cedar?
thanks
Sis

Hello Sis,

Welcome to LJs. I am sure that you will find this to be an exciting and rewarding part of your woodworking experience.

Sis, with regards to your question it will get read more if you post it as a forum topic.

This is how far I’ve gone. I decided on the Herreshoff 10’ pram with 1/4 ” white cedar lapstrake. I am going to rig it for sailing with a centerboard. I need about 20 planks of 1/4” by 5” (about) by 12’ . I got an estimate for $1300 for the milled cedar. does that sound right. I think I’m going to have to wait for a Xmas bonus (even though I’m retired) to purchase it.
any suggestions?
thanks, Sis
