Workshop Information

Location
Finland
Basically I transform my car garage into my workshop. There is not so much to say about it,except I have been reading a lot about how to arrange your own workshop, how to make it functional and organized. I arrange it on the way how is good for me ( it doesn't mean it is proper way :) but for now I can menage like this) , that all tool what I have I can use easily.
From the power tools I'm using Makita products, like table saw, miter saw, vacuum cleaner..and some hand tools.Still missing some of stuff but in the future I'm planing to expend my workshop by adding some extra tools and other stuff from which I'll might get better products and done job easily.
I made workbench by myself in a few weeks and what u can't see from the pictures i posted, vacuum is inside the bench.I can say it is handy , only problem with it is that my car doesn't fit into garage anymore :)

I hope You gonna like what I show here, and off course feel free to comment and put some advice or critic.

That is a really cool bench. I have definitely not seen one exactly like that before. What is the middle section with the hinges?

Middle section is separate in two parts. From one side I put drawers and from other side is basically empty space where I put vacuum ,which one is connected with table saw. Also I use it for miter saw but tube must go over the top of bench :( didn't found better solution for that at the moment, but anyway this system is not to bad.

Well done! and Trevetuloa!
What is the lumber you used for the top? Is it Spruce?

Yes it is. I didn't have to much choice because lumber in Finland is very expensive, any other choice would cost a fortune. For my needs this will do the job.

Fantastic work. I'm kind of a utilitarian guy. Something like this that is innovative and answers all of the needs in a functional and attractive package is the best kind of art. Kudos.

Odličan stol, ali je očito da si morao žrtvovati auto. Sanjam o takvom rasporedu, ali ipak stavljam auto u garažu/radionicu.

Thanks everyone,I found myself here, great company of woodworkers :)

Hey Vladimir, Great job on the bench! That top must have weighed quite a bit. The whole set-up is fantastic…
