Over the last year I’ve become addicted to lumberjocks, but I’ve also discovered so many independent woodworking blogs but struggled to keep up with them and find the real jewels. And sometimes when I do find a blog that has amazing woodworking content, I learn that the author hasn’t posted in a very long time or there’s even a farewell post stating the lack of readership made it not worth all the effort. I figured I can solve my own problem as a reader and maybe even help in a small way by driving traffic to those craftsmen and women bloggers out there.
During the day I’m a software developer, so I spent a couple nights and weekends putting together a reddit style dedicated site for sharing woodworking blog entries. I encourage anyone who follows some blogs they like to share those links so that others like myself can find and maybe even encourage the bloggers to keep creating and documenting :)
Almost forgot, the site’s woodspotting.com
