Location: Wyandotte, Michigan USA

I am a High School (grades 9-12) Woodworking Teacher currently in my twelfth year. I have also taught drafting for about ten years. I can truly say "I love my job"! From the people I work with to my students, I love being able to come to work every day and teach people about my passion for woodworking. I am a member of MITES (Michigan Industrial Technology Education Society) which is an organization of all Industrial Arts Teachers who have organized regional and state competitions for student projects for the past 82 years! I am currently the assistant Regional Area Officer for MITES in Wayne county Michigan.
Besides being a Teacher I also like to learn as much about woodworking as I can in my spare time. I also enjoy designing and building furniture and other woodworking projects to keep my skills sharp. I am really looking forward to getting to know people from this site and sharring knowledge about woodworking.

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself a few months ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…
