« Part 1: Second Generation Website (with a lot of help from LJ's) Does this look better??? Part 2 of My New Website series no next part

I’ve done the final adjustments to the new site and am pleased with the way it turned out. Thanks to all the Lumberjocks who helped contribute to this little success. It is a much better site for your participation.

The final touches have been:
1) to reduce the impact of the flipping slideshow galleries by making them fade and slowing some of them down a bit.
2) to add a couple of videos and a place for new misc. bits and pieces.
3) to stop worrying about why I can’t get the margins grey like they are on my construction site.

It may not be perfect but it is much better than I thought I would be able to do and that is in large part thanks to all of you. This is really what makes LJ’s a community of friends.

Thanks again

Nice work as always. I like a site that tells a story such as the way you have done. Well done Paul.

I have one comment, I am not fond of that type of menu but thats just me.

You need to remember one thing. Your work is amazing, you could have a plain vanilla site and folks would take notice.

Looks great…the only little thing i noticed are the tabs/boxes…from the home page they are large…then when you click on the artist statement the tabs change to a really small font…

But the most important part is the presentation…and really does show off your work…which is sooooo good…

Hi Paul.. from one BC’er to another! I just toured your new website and it is awesome, but not nearly as awesome as the beautiful projects that you have made. Your work is outstanding craftsmanship! I’ve ‘bookmarked’ your site and plan to return often. (I love your veneer press). Keep up the good work.

It’s looking geat Paul.

Under “tools and techniques”, 2 pictures overlap.
From the placement I am guessing it was done on purpose.

Paul, you have a very nice web site. Congratulations.
