Part 1: burl elm
This is a piece of red elm burl with live edge,recently i’ve had a little time (no joke) on my hands to make some items. The clock is a moon phase movement.I used some plastic coat laquer to finish it.I inserted the mirror into a rebate (i know i spell it different) In the back.It would look nice above a fireplace i think.
Part 2: gift
If you noticed my garden bench project,at the same time i was asked to make a gift for the person who was opening the local cottages,and i made this Look at that smilethis is me presenting our deputy first minister martin mcguinness with the gift for opening the local cottages
