I have always loved making things, crafts, assembling things, etc. I loved my shop class in middle school and always got better grades than the boys, but did not take any more shop classes throughout school b/c it wasn't the "cool" thing for girls to do and none of my friends were in it. So now I am a 27 year old nurse hoping to make wood work my new career:) I am pretty much self taught and still learning alot. I have read tons of books, and having been working on my shop and skills for about 1yr. I now have a workable shop and will soon be producing furniture and cabinets!
