Well, so far we just work in my two car garage and have:
Jet contractors saw
Dewalt 12” miter saw
Grizzly 6” jointer
Makita 12” planer
Jet 17” Drill Press
Grizzly 14×40 lathe
a few handplanes (old Miller Falls, Stanley) I think my favorite is the Stanley radius plane and some wooden molding planes. I have not learned to use or sharpen them properly but they are fun.
In addition we have a few clamps and some handtools.
We don’t have the shop set up like we would like yet but it is a work in progress.

How about some pics? Kinda like ‘before’ pics.

It might be pretty scary. I am sure that my wife will insist that I clean first. Ha, ha.

Hi Shawn,

I would like to see some pictures as well. It is really enjoyable to share posts like this. Don’t worry about it being clean. A shop without a little sawdust looks too lonely for my tastes. A shop is meant to be used and, for us, that means generating sawdust. I have tried to convince my wife that having sawdust on the shop floor is perfectly ok but she insists on getting in there and sweeping (and letting me know about it in the process).
