Delta table saw - 4 replies
I am going to buy a new table saw and I am looking at either the Delta 36-725 or Delta 36-5000. The first is $600 and the 5000 is $900 at Lowe’s aside from one being 13 amp to 15 amp does anyone know the big difference here? Thanks Jim

I am in the process of making some picture frames. I made a sled to make the 45 degree cuts, and they are fairly nice but not perfect. I read somewhere about putting a blade tensioner on my table saw, but can’t seem to find what I need to take the wobble out of the blade. does anyone know of this?

Band saw - 15 replies
I am looking to buy a band saw. I don’t have the room or money for a big one so I am looking at a smaller one and was looking at the Craftsman 10 inch, or does anyone know of a better one that isn’t real expensiver? This is for mostly small projects 3/4 inch pine, but some hardwood as well.

I am making a flag box for my father and on the top and the door there is some curves and as I am new to woodworking I was wondering for these cuts should I have a band saw or scroll saw? I have a good jig saw, but will not attempt these cuts with that and thought that either one of those would be better and easier to use.
