Part 1: The Wood and Design
Well after anouncing yesterday I was going to enter this Challenge I figured I better get started. I went into my shop this morning to decide what wood I should use. I found some popular, cherry and oak. I also had some black walnut logs but not near enough. So I went to my old barn to see what was there. Part 2: Cutting and Dryfitting

I am giving this table to my mother I hope she enjoys it as much as I did making it. I have not been on this site long but I am glad I found it. The people here are all so friendly and willing to share their wealth of knowledge. I know this was a challenge but its refreshing not to have the cut throat compet...
