Well Its not finished yet, I have so much going on right now , and man it get expensive, I also upgraded my table saw and purchased a small dust collector I found on craigslist, I got the saw for $175.00 and the dust collector for $75.00. I still need too purchase 2 more windows , finish out side trim work , paint inside and out and finish ceiing and electrical. I am currently running off extension cords.

A little history on original building, its about 70yrs old and housed a mule stable in part of the original structure. It was on the verge of falling down. The house here is over 100 yrs old . Well I started to tear it down and build a new building ,the more I looked at it and thought about it I felt it was best too save it. The bottom floor was in such bad shape I figured the best way was too repost the whole structure. (it use to sit on blocks) Well I cemented in treated 4×4 post. I started in one corrner and worked slowley around using 36 post 1 every four feet. Some are lagged to upper post others use angle plates too nail and screw to upper building. Then framed up 2 foot on center for walls. Inside walls will be covered with 1/4 in birch plywood ,I used r14 insulation in walls and will use same in ceiling.

The floor is 2×6 with 3/4 plywood ,joist every 16 inches , I cemented 3 4×4 post for each joist , and using some old blocks for the building blocked up more for good measure. The floor will be painted with epoxy paint.

Thats all for now so i dont bore you all.I will gladly answer all questions. Pics can be seen at link, could not get them too post. On one end there is a shelter for my 2 riding lawn mowers and access too the double doors to get the big stuff in and out. the shelter on the other end will be lumber storage. Not sure when I will finish the top floor are what I will use it for.

looks like a great-room with lots of potential for a nice shop! nice to start with dust collection. it doesnt make furniture, so too many people neglect that aspect in their shop, but our health is more important.

cant wait to see what this will become into :) keep us posted as time allows.
