Well, I live here in Columbus Ohio, Go Bucks, Just joined LumberJocks in mid April. I tended bar for 12 years or so, hit 30, and lost my taste for it. Thought I'd try my hand at construction. Spent the last 7 years learning all aspects of the residential construction/handyman trade, tile,elec,plumbing, etc. I just got into woodworking last year, and really started to focus on it in the last few months. Hoping to find a way to make a living at it! I think I found the right place to learn a bit more about real woodworking, right here. Honestly, I'd been a member about 5 minutes, with one project up, and I'd already recieved 4 or 5 welcome notes. Aside from what is certainly the most talented group of people I've come across, it just seems like a bunch of real solid folks here. I like it!

I really appreciate the warm welcome guys! I’ll be honest with you, I have no idea what I’m doing, probably be asking a few questions it’s ok. I’m going to post pics of a few projects, would appreciate any input/advice anyone may have! Thanks again!

Welcome to Lumberjocks. People are great here. I think you’ll like it. Columbus, great town. We lived in Dublin for about ten years, right near the concrete corn. Go Bucks is right!
