Table Saw in the Los Angeles area - 9 replies
Came across this saw on CL this morning. Sweet deal for a well kept saw with an excellent fence and some upgrades. If I were looking for an inexpensive starter saw, I would jump on this. http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/tls/4976257749.html

Grizzly Sale - 15 replies
I recieved a flyer in the mail yesterday from Grizzly for a Spring/Summer sale showing the G0690 reduced to $1150. I checked the web site and still see it at $1395, even though the Spring/Summer sale was suppose to start yesterday. I entered the pricing code on the back of the flyer but it shows invalid. Did anybody else receive this flyer and h...

Table Saw Dilemma - 11 replies
So I finally got the OK by the watch commander (wife) to purchase a new table saw. Decided on the Grizzly 1023rlw, but Grizzly said it is unavailable until mid April. My draw to the RLW is the built in router table and the price. My other option is the 0690 but it is more expensive and no router extension. The router extension would be $300 more...

Jointer and Bandsaw - 10 replies
The watch commander (Aka My Wife) authorized a $1000 budget for some new toys in the shop. I need a jointer and bandsaw. Considering the budget, I was looking at a 6in jointer and 14 in bandsaw from Grizzly. For the work I will be doing, I don’t think I will need anything bigger then a 6 in jointer and a 14 in saw. What combination of Griz...

Router Speed - 2 replies
Anybody have a go by for router speed (router table) for different types of wood. I know the bigger bits need a slower speed, but I’m asking about regular size bits like 1/2 inch round overs and such. I had my Triton router on 3 with some pine and I was getting some tear out. The bit was brand new. Any info will help. Thanks

Just purchased a HF 2hp dust collector with a coupon for $149. For as much as I am gonna use it, it was a no brainer. I recent reads a review about replacing the filter with a Wynn.
