Marks smiley face discovery, and Karson’s Turtle reminded me I wanted to share these from around the house.

This is our “bear” in the upstairs bath. a warm smile everytime you go up to ‘sit for a spell.’

In the dining room I see a monkey (or close cousin), or perhaps something akin to the Orange Monster from the old Bugs Bunny cartoons.

I think there is another one hiding in plain sight… but a bit too well for my memory.

Here is a Pressed Fairy on the wall in the living room. My wife will make me frame this if we paint, or take it with us if we move.

Meet my friend, Harry the Hound Dog. He resides at my feet, on the floor in my study.

That’s about the same as reading the clouds, except those are permanent.

Thanks Don (and all) Love the Dog!

Debbie, you cant go find them… they have to reveal themselves.

The linoeum in my parents bathroom has two (what can only be described as) aliens in the design… odd that there is only two because it’s a repeating pattern.

Sorry, Scott, I didn’t see the Bear, but I did see the Haughty Woman with a bun in her hair, looking left out of the picture. (With a little license from PhotoShop).

Now I see that too…

For the Bear, Ignore the uppermose and lowest knots.

The center most knot is the nose, the eyes are to the left, and the smile to the right. (his head is turned, perhaps he has a fish in his mouth?

Scott: I saw the other knots as the paws of the bear.

Scott – I forgot that I have to listen to the wood:)
Re: lineoleum, in our bathroom (growing up on the farm) we had ceramic tiles on the wall and right beside the toilet was Santa Claus riding in his sleigh, heading to the north pole..
And in our bathroom now, on the floor is a moose head and a man’s head repeated throughout the floor. It passes the time to check the floor out for more images..

I put up a tongue and groove beadboard ceiling in my daughters room a couple summers back – somewhat knotty. I need to spend a little time there laying on the floor and doing a little “knot gazing” – after the months it took me to finish, I sort of didn’t ever get to pause and really “see” what might be looking down, watching over my little one.
