Again love this site!If not in shop so much think i could just hang here!As more of a refinisher than a builder,my 1st harvest table is proving to be a challenge!(thats a good thing)mortise an tenion joints?also a first.lumber is from an old baptist church I tore down this summer.100+year old rough cut oak, square nails an all.I have many other plans for this lumber, but as I am 1of the lucky few to be blessed with adult onset ocd(i highly recommend it!)if you have any suggestions as to good uses of this awesome lumber, please share!also recommendations on harvest table would be most welcome

Why thank you for your input, while as fascinating as this sounds, am unsure as to its relevance.

I think Raspberry Ketone would make an excellent finish for your farm table (HaHa). Seriously, good find on the wood and the harvest table is looking good. Are you laminating some of the old church lumber to make the top? My wife and I made a similar table (3’ wide x 10’ long) out of cypress with tapered, not turned, legs.

Have your say...
