Well My fellow LJ’s I have been officially here a year today. Please forgive me if I get sentimental or drift from time to time :) During my year here I really seen some ups and downs and even been a little sideways, looking back I watched my buddy list grow, my favorites get larger, and posted 506 times !!!! This year has been rough on me with my job situation getting worse day to day, being told and sold down the river by banks, and the SBA as a non compete business ( he’s gonna fail anyway) Seen the passing of my aunt and two prominent friends and the possible passing of my co- worker Beverly in limbo. Although the year has tried to be bad for me I really can’t complain. Last night I got a text to call my buddy Diettra And I talked to her tonight and she brought great joy and encouragement to me. If you study business most businesses have a team as in lawyers, bankers, investors etc. But I realized my business team wasn’t made up of pros but of friends who try to keep me going. Annie, chuck, Diettra, Todd Clippinger, Nate, a1jim,. ND2elk and a host of other Lumber jocks. Some who had business experience and others who didn’t. I just notice they all have one thing in common they really want me to succeed:) And I think this is what any entrepreneur needs on his team if they are wanting to survive, As friends will tell you to keep pressing on regardless and will be there for you no matter what :) One of the most memorable times was my friend chuck helped me write a 47 page business plan, loan proposal, and go to get SBA backed financing Only to have a door shut in my face, Turned down and destined to hafta close up due to lack of lumber for my chairs. But God will make a way as I received my first batch of cedar today
240 Lin ft of 1×4 western red cedar!!!!!!!
As today draws to a close I really want to say thank you to all of you here on LJ’s who have encouraged me, Blessed me, prayed for me, give me advice, kept me going even when I wanted to give up. I am keeping faith that this year will be better than last year.
