Good Evening LJ’s I want to dedicate this blog to my co-worker Beverly who is out for quite a while,
Monday before last she went from work to emergency with severe stomach pains that Thursday she was diagnosed with cancer.

What makes a person, a business, a church or a company excellent ? How do we define them as excellent ? What unit of success do we use? Is excellence lots of money, time, being on top of the world, or Just having it all ?

Some define excellence as being a gift given to certain people, But how do you explain the underdogs making it ?
The Phrase on the Mouse pad that hangs in my shop, the one I found defines excellence.

Excellence is not a gift given, but a skill perfected

Along the side reads Philippians Ch3 vs14- I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. _
Excellence is a skill we develop through our character, the ability to stand out from the crowd, to shine, to dare to be different, to refuse to accept mediocrity as a way of life. We all have a purpose, a skill, or have a trait that makes us truly excellent in our own way, we must accept this first then like our woodworking practice it in order to become what others measure to be excellent. Excellence is not just what we do it is how we handle what others do to us also,

Lets all be excellent :)

-- Proverbs Ch:3 vs 5,6,7 Trust in the lord with all thine heart and lean not unto your own understanding but in all your ways aknowledge him and he shall direct your path
