Good evening LJ’s this week was a quiet one not much accomplished LOL :) I finally Got almost all of the sawdust cleaned up from the pulpit Job, then in to the quest to find western red cedar S4S Grade 2, As usual got the same story from three new lumber yards that Grade 2 does not exist !!!!! Only clear or rough sawn grade 3 < Now before you think I am out of my mind Monday morning I visited WRCLA Or Western Red Cedar Lumber Associations website and Got THEIR PHONE #’S telling them this two hung up on me the third told me they would see about it , after giving them four days I called back THEY NEVER EVEN CHECKED ON IT !!!!!!! this burned me up to say the least. After a few choice thoughts (Almost said it :) ) I hung up figuring I would look elsewhere Today, Went to church and we had a associate minister preach for women’s day and believe you me the message wasn’t for me so I went on my own reading the Bible in Proverbs My favorite book :) And came upon this scripture

Proverbs 28:19 (King James Version) 19-He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough.

BAM!!! it hit me like a Oak tree, The reason I hadn’t gone anywhere with my business!! You see instead of making sawdust I was busy making a business plan, Not just a simple plan but an elaborate one trying to get financing to get a Large qty of Lumber Well boy I could have kicked my own self instead of building and selling I was busy trying to look pretty, look good, and not getting dirty and pushing or as my young co-worker calls it Hustling!!!
Getting out there and regardless of outcome trying to make money ;) Now I have a different focus on how I need to move and boy will I be making changes – I’m going back to my original business plan only 6 pages long !!! Believe it or not It was actually working and I changed from it because It wasn’t good enough for our SBA office !!!! One piece of advice I can give with a tried heart is never Change your plans Especially if they are working regardless of who don’t like it !!!
As this week starts I will be going the opposite direction :)
Until next week Take care :P

We grew from nothing with no money to where we are today and 90% of it was just plain old hard work and determination. 90% of our work has come to us by word of mouth so our work sells itself. Hang in there and you’ll get there soon enough.

Sawblade… I agree with Knucklenut, with the Lord on your side and hardwork along with a quality product and a fair price you cannot loose! Keep the faith if you feel this is the direction you should go do it!! Let me ask this do you have the support of your family? You have to have their support otherwise if you should not succeed they may never let you have any peace…

I will be thinking and praying that you have peace through this process!!
